ABR Cycle Group Ride Structure

The structure of our club rides

Our Free Style, Development and Performance training rides are designed with the next cycle event in mind, they are designed to help you progress your ability and to give you the confidence you need on the road. All our rides are group focused, working as a team and supporting each other along the club journey. No rider is left behind on club rides and we always ride at the slowest cyclist pace. Structuring our rides this way ensures you're cycle training at the right intensity and progress in the correct way helping you develop your cycling abilities.

We have structured our club rides in to 4 categories:

  • Performance -  Realising your potential training rides (set to groups ability)
  • Development - Practising different cycling skill training rides which includes some harder sections, goal setting and cycle skill development training.
  • Free Style - Basic club style cycle ride, no structured training just a group paced ride with added fun by other memebrs.
  • Breakfast - This is our relaxed cycle ride and will always include a cafe stop.
